
With a background in Art Direction, Valthip took up a role producing animation as the Monk started in 2007. Over the past 4 and a half years, Valtip produced over 10 hours of quality animation for Unilever Wall 's PaddlePop Campaign, working with clients, artists, writers and directors locally and oversea. Beside mastering the people skill, Valtip hold an Architecture Degree from Industrial design department, KMITL University, Thailand

John is a thirty-year veteran of animation production in a diversity of roles such as Director, Producer, Storyboard Artist, Designer, Animator, Writer, and Consultant. He has worked with ILM, Colossal Pictures, Lucasfilm, and Disney. In 1994 he co-founded the award winning Wildbrain Animation Studios, and left in 2009 to work on the Howl feature film with Monk Studios.

Tod Polson : An experienced 2D and 3D animator director who has worked in the US, Thailand, the Philippines, and Hong Kong. Tod has been the creative director for companies such as Wild Brain (SF), Wang Films (Taiwan), Warner (LA), and Kantana (Thailand). A creator with unlimited creativity and spunk, Tod is a valuable resource when it comes to animation and character designs. He received a master degree in 1998 from the Cal Arts Experimental Animation. Filmography: 2000 "Al Tudi Tuhak" winner of the student Academy Award.

Layout Artist, Lead Animator, 3D Animation Instructor, 2D Animation and Drawing teacher, Character Artist, Producer, and Director, those are Salvador. From 2006-2007, Salvador was directing/animating his short film "Insight" with the support of the Open Workshop in Viborg-Denmark.

A seven-year Pixar veteran, Mark animated on Toy Story, A Bug's Life, and Toy Story 2, and was one of the founding influences in the development of Pixar's character animation group. In 2001 Mark co-founded DigitalFish, Inc. with a talented team of programmers with the goal of creating artist-driven 3D character animation tools. Mark also animates, creates comics, and teaches animation.

Over 16 years of experience working on high-end feature film visual effects, Juck Somsaman is a former Hollywood VFX veteran who had worked with Rhythm and Hues, USA since 1991. His feature film credits span over 30 VFX movies. In 2006, Juck returned to his hometown, Bangkok, bringing world-class animation and VFX technology to Thailand, founding “The Monk Studio” to produce high quality work with highly skilled artists and technicians.
